Job summary

Quantum-Si is seeking a Senior Field Application Scientist to support sales and customers as the technical product and application expert. You will be the domain expert, working with sales, product management, market development, and marketing.

You will lead pre-sales engagements, onboard customers, and provide training on QSI instruments and software while troubleshooting complex datasets and presenting technical results at seminars.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biology, or related field.
• Masters/PhD preferred but not required if have 5+ years lab experience.
• Prior employment in similar technical support role or lab experience with support.
• Experience in proteomics, protein biology, or mass spectrometry.
• Theoretical or technical background inCell Biology, Biochemistry, NGS.
• Excellent written/oral communication skills.
• Takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Master protocols, applications, and troubleshooting for all QSI products.
• Understand proteomic applications and how QSI products meet market needs.
• Lead technical discussions in pre-sales meetings with customers.
• Draft experimental plans for customers during product evaluations.
• Onsite and remote onboarding of QSI products and software.
• Conduct onsite trainings of instrument, software, and reagent workflows.
• Drive instrument utilization with customers and collaborate with sales.
• Manage Technical Support cases via SFDC – e-mail, phone, site visits.
• Participate in tradeshows and contribute to technical collateral ideas.
