Job summary

Quantum-Si is seeking a Senior Field Application Scientist to support sales and customers as the technical product and application expert, reporting to the Senior Director, Field Applications and Services. The role requires a proteomics background, strong communication, and the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product management, market development, and marketing.

The position is remote within the United States with travel up to 75%, based in SF or SD preferred, and offers a base

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biology, or related field.
• Masters/PhD preferred but not required if have 5+ years lab experience.
• Experience in proteomics, protein biology, or mass spectrometry.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Master protocols, applications, and troubleshooting for all QSI products.
• Pre-sales meetings, seminars and product evaluations.
• Draft experimental plans and demo reports for customers.
• Manage onsite and remote onboarding of QSI products and software.
• Drive instrument utilization and support with sales through project plans.
