Job summary

ZEISS is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support pre-sales demonstrations and post-sales applications for Industrial Metrology in North America. You will work with field sales to train dealers, develop demonstrations, and ensure successful use of ZEISS systems across customer sites.

Responsibilities include on-site demonstrations, software and hardware integration, and translating customer needs into actionable technical solutions. Travel within the USA and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills and comfortable presenting technical information to small or large audiences.
• Self-starter, comfortable working independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and related software packages.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation to field sales personnel and the Industrial Metrology group.
• Facilitate the flow and accuracy of technical information to the field sales force.
• Support the introduction of new products into the North American market.
• Provide technical training programs to field sales personnel and dealer network.
• Plan, prepare, and perform high quality customer demonstrations, in-house and in the field as needed.
• Provide on-site implementation of quoted application items.
