Windward Risk Managers is seeking a field-based Residential Property Claims Adjuster to inspect insured properties within the assigned territory and travel as needed. The role emphasizes prompt, courteous service and effective communication with policyholders, attorneys, vendors, and adjusters.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida All-Lines Adjuster license (620), have 3+ years of homeowner's claims field experience, and are proficient in Xactimate and sketching, including mobile apps.

• 3+ years of homeowners' claims field adjusting experience.
• Proficient with Xactimate and sketching, including mobile applications (iPad, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Prompt and courteous servicing of property claims, including on-site inspection of insured properties.
• Communicate with policyholders, public adjusters, attorneys, vendors and experts to resolve claims.
• Identify and analyze coverage issues arising in claims investigations.
• Conduct factual investigation of the cause of loss.
• Make coverage determinations based on policy and endorsements.
• Maintain proper file documentation reflecting progressive claim handling.
• Issue Coverage and Payment Letters to settle and conclude claims.

***Candidates must be located within a commutable distance to Brevard, Osceola, and Indian River Counties***Position Summary:Position is responsible for prompt and thorough investigation of routine to moderately complex residential property claims. This is a field-based position involving on-site inspection of insured properties. Regular travel within assigned territory is required.Essential Functions:Prompt and courteous servicing of property claims, including insured and agency contact and follow through.Communicate and interact with a variety of individuals to foster the timely resolution of claims, including, but not limited to, policyholders, public adjusters, attorneys, vendors, and experts.Timely identification, analysis and resolution of coverage issues arising in claims investigation.Factual investigation of cause of loss.Coverage determination based on a variety of policy and endorsements.Maintain proper file documentation reflecting progressive claim handling.Coverage and Payment Letters necessary to settle and conclude the claim.Required Education and Experience:Must maintain a Florida All-Lines adjuster (620) license.3+ years of homeowner’s claims field adjusting experience required handling all perils.Must be proficient with Xactimate and sketching, including mobile applications (iPad etc.)Preferred Qualifications:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional customer service skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Knowledge of property insurance policy and coverage analysis.Must be able to work under deadlines.Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Strong skills and experience with Xactimate estimating program.Due to current business and operational considerations, we currently hire employees residing in the following states at this time: AL, AR, CA, CT, FL, GA, KY, MO, NC, NV, OH, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WI.Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.WRM is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
