ZiplyFiber is seeking a Senior OSP Engineer to oversee fiber design, permitting, and project delivery in Beaverton, OR. You will drive planning, budgeting, and scheduling for network growth, modernization, and ROW coordination with multiple departments and vendors.

The role requires deep OSP engineering knowledge, strong records management, and the ability to mentor teams while coordinating with regulatory bodies and field staff.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience or minimum seven years of outside plant engineering experience.
• Minimum of five to seven years telecommunication outside plant fiber design experience.
• Minimum of three years’ ROW, easement and permitting with local/state/federal entities.

Mansioni

• Plan and design outside plant facilities, determine upgrades and enhancements.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure proper project planning and preconstruction meetings.
• Prepare cost estimates based on project type and needs.
• Maintain accurate cable records and update as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with state/county/city entities for planned projects involving growth.
• Apply for permits (State, DNR, City, County) as required.
• Maintain ROWs and easements and perform releases as needed.
• Support leadership with reporting and escalations.
• Provide guidance and training to internal and external teams.
