Qualifications

8+ years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent.
Knowledge of underground fiber installation using boring and plow equipment.
Effective communication and leadership skills.
Ability to supervise craft employees and sub-contractors.
Strong knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specs, and practices.

Responsibilities

Ensure projects meet approved plans, specs, and building codes.
Lead development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs; oversee investigations.
Review and update construction schedules; address delays and keep schedules on track.
Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
Report and track financial aspects of the project.
Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations.
Set priorities and allocate resources for the field team; mentor staff.
