Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a MFG & PROCESS TECHNICIAN III to produce fiber optic assemblies and ensure quality standards. The role uses welded fiber optic arrays, tests cable assemblies, and requires on-site training.

The candidate should have 2–4+ years in manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and dexterity for fine handwork, with basic Excel/Word skills. On-site collaboration is essential in Webster, NY.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, optical engineering or technology, or equivalent combination with 1+ year of related experience.
• High school diploma required; AA degree or equivalent preferred.
• 2-4+ years of related manufacturing experience is typical.
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation required.
• Manual dexterity for fine and precise handwork.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic production equipment for fiber optic connector manufacturing.
• Collect measurements of fiber optic assemblies.
• Maintain and calibrate fiber optic welding platform.
• Provide feedback to improve welding platform performance.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Terminate fiber optic cables.
