Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks an Assembly Operator III for fiber optic cable assemblies. You will polish, test, terminate, and assemble fiber optic components, supporting new product builds and prototype tests.

Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail are essential for quality and safety in a cleanroom environment. Experience with measuring equipment and reading prints is required, with overtime available to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of two years of manufacturing experience, including at least one year of fiber optic assembly experience.
• Proficient hand-eye dexterity and motor skills for intricate work.
• Ability to read prints and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Polish and test fiber optic cables.
• Assemble and package fiber optic connector components as needed.
• Terminate single and multi-fiber cables.
• Operate fiber router and complete over-molding process as needed.
• Support prototype builds and pre-release NPI builds.
• Inspect own work using quality standards and prints.
