Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive new product and process development for fiber optic assemblies. You will launch products, optimize lines, and advance cost efficiency while upholding TE safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with product development, operations, and quality teams across TE’s global footprint to deliver robust manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in mechanical, electrical, optical, or manufacturing engineering.
• 5+ years in manufacturing with at least 2 years in fiber optic products.
• Experience introducing new products as part of a project team.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and Microsoft Office.
• Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Launch and scale new products, develop and implement manufacturing technologies.
• Support NPD Phase Gate processes and DFx feedback.
• Lead Lean initiatives to reduce cost and improve throughput.
• Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, routings, and specifications.
• Partner with quality, operations and product development across TE's global footprint.
