Job summary

Astound Broadband in Port Orchard, WA, is seeking a Construction Manager to lead fiber builds, coordinate with utilities and authorities, and manage make-ready, right-of-way, and capital projects. You will supervise crews, ensure safety and quality, review quotes, and track progress across multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

A strong background in cable/telecom construction and knowledge of codes is required, with opportunities for advancement and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years Cable Television or Telecommunications technical experience.
• 7-10 years supervising a cable/telecommunications construction department.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Codes and G.O.95 and 128.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with utilities, municipalities, engineers, and permitting authorities.
• Supervise in-house and contract labor for aerial and underground construction.
• Monitor contractor performance and safety compliance.
• Review quotes for residential and small business sales to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate make-ready and right-of-way activities and project data analysis.
