Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Construction Manager to own fiber network builds from first site visit through handoff. You will manage commercial fiber, MDU, and network builds, coordinating with customers, contractors, and the team while balancing field work, design, and planning, with room to grow into senior management.

This role involves field visits, materials scoping, and overseeing third-party contractors to ensure timeliness and budget adherence, with a direct path toward senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in OSP fiber construction, ideally on ISP or fiber provider side.
• MDU/commercial fiber build experience is required.
• Ability to read, sketch and interpret fiber designs and scope materials.
• Experience coordinating third-party construction contractors.
• Self-starter with ownership mindset in a small, fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits and site surveys to scope new builds and customer connections.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the construction process.
• Produce sketches and preliminary designs, and hand off accurately to the mapping team.
• Scope and order materials and supplies in detail for each project.
• Oversee third-party construction contractors to ensure quality, schedule and budget are met.
• Drive projects from initial planning through to completion with minimal supervision.

Join an established fiber network operator running a large and growing network with a small, highly capable operations team, backed by a company that invests in its infrastructure.

Applications are open for a Construction Manager to take ownership of how the network gets built, from first site visit through to final handoff. The ideal candidate will run projects end to end across commercial fiber, MDU, and network builds, working directly with customers, contractors, and the wider team while balancing field work, design, and planning, with room to grow into senior management.
