Job summary

Astound is seeking a Construction Manager in Port Orchard, WA to coordinate with utilities, municipalities, engineers, and permitting authorities while guiding make-ready, right-of-way, and fiber deployment projects.

You will supervise construction teams, manage in-house and contract labor for aerial and underground builds, monitor safety and quality, review claims, and drive schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years Cable Television or Telecommunications technical experience.
• Ability to supervise and motivate others.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Knowledge of NEC and GO.95 and 128.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with utilities, municipalities, engineers, developers, and permitting authorities.
• Manage make-ready and right-of-way activities.
• Supervise construction personnel and coordinate in-house and contract labor for aerial and underground builds.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure safety and quality.
• Review damage claims and support capital project development.
• Provide training and guidance to construction leads.
