Metronet is seeking an OSP Field Supervisor to oversee safe, high‑quality fiber optic construction in the field. You will lead aerial and underground crews, inspect work, and ensure adherence to Metronet’s standards while engaging with neighborhoods to resolve issues.

You will manage safety, quality, and timelines, coordinate with contractors, and ensure regulatory compliance across daily operations. The role demands strong communication and problem-solving in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years related experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience in quality control and outside aerial plant construction.
• Ability to work independently under deadline pressure.
• Good communication and diplomacy skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of specifications, practices, and safety.
• Inspect aerial fiber placement on poles and underground conduit.
• Approve unitized completed aerial work to standards.
• Manage construction tracker and budgets.
• Respond to utility strikes and document investigations within 24 hours.
• Conduct weekly safety and quality audits for contractors.
• Arrange contractor training and safety tailgates in employees' languages.
