Job summary

Metronet is seeking a Project Director to lead Outside Plant projects, owning budgets, schedules and customer expectations while guiding the project team to successful, on-time and on-budget delivery.

The role requires coordinating with customers, interfacing with stakeholders, and ensuring scope and design meet requirements using industry standards across our fiber network expansion efforts.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in construction management or electrical/civil engineering preferred
• Equivalent experience will be considered
• Strong knowledge of Telecom construction and project budgeting
• Experience with scheduling, tracking, and field office operations
• Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Access/Project

Responsibilities

• Review budgets, schedules and requirements for each project
• Create and execute work plans, schedules and budgets
• Assign duties to the project team
• Manage day-to-day operations to meet deadlines and budget
• Interface with customers and provide progress reports and change management
• Interpret project specifications and ensure scope adherence
• Communicate requirements and technical details to staff
• Represent Metronet in meetings with customers
• Ensure compliance with permits and approvals
• Review job cost reports with leadership
• Maintain open lines of communication with senior management
• Produce quality results efficiently and cost-effectively
• Promote Metronet professionally to satisfy customer needs
