Job summary

Dutech Systems is seeking a senior healthcare integration engineer to design and implement HL7 v2 and FHIR interfaces, REST APIs, and data mappings. You will build secure portals, enforce RBAC, and ensure compliant data handling across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will work with AWS HealthLake, Snowflake, eICR, and public health data workflows, applying best practices in testing, CI/CD, and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of software development or healthcare integration experience.
• Minimum 5 years designing, developing, testing, and supporting healthcare interfaces (HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, JSON, XML).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support healthcare interfaces using HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Develop and maintain healthcare data integration solutions including mapping, transformation, validation, and error handling.
• Implement and integrate FHIR servers, FHIR APIs, and interoperability solutions.
• Develop secure web portals and portal-integrated services to retrieve/display healthcare data.
• Implement authentication, authorization, RBAC, and secure coding practices.
• Map, transform, and validate healthcare data across HL7 v2, FHIR, and analytical data models.
• Work with SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, CVX, RxNorm terminology standards.
• Implement FHIR solutions on AWS or similar cloud platforms and integrate with cloud data pipelines.
