Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead advanced security assessments and guide clients through FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF requirements. The role emphasizes mentoring, secure cloud architecture, and risk mitigation in a fast-paced, remote delivery environment.

You will engage with client stakeholders, perform evidence collection, and author reports while applying deep technical expertise across security frameworks and controls.

Qualifications

• Security engineering knowledge to evaluate secure architecture, system and network security, authentication protocols, applied cryptography, and application security.
• Mastery of FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST RMF, Cloud and DoD RMF frameworks and related control requirements.
• Proficiency with security assessment tools (Nessus/ACAS/WebInspect/NMAP) and reporting.
• Professional certifications: at least one listed in the role (e.g., CISSP/CISSO or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive security assessments, evaluating compliance with FISMA, NIST RMF, and FedRAMP standards.
• Guide cross-functional teams and manage compliance discussions and reporting.
• Author clear assessment reports, attestations, and customer-facing documentation.
• Mentor team members and support secure cloud architecture and risk mitigation.
