Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead advanced security assessments and guide clients through FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF requirements. You will mentor teams, support secure cloud architecture, and communicate complex compliance concepts to stakeholders in a fast-paced remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant cybersecurity experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive security assessments by analyzing cybersecurity documentation, performing evidence collection, and conducting interviews to evaluate compliance with FISMA, NIST RMF, and FedRAMP standards
• Guide cross-functional teams and lead compliance discussions, demonstrating expert understanding of security frameworks, architectures, and control requirements
• Author clear, accurate, and original assessment reports, attestations, and customer-facing compliance documentation
