Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead security assessments for client information systems, applying FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF requirements. You will guide client discussions, mentor team members, and support secure cloud architecture and risk mitigation with a primary FedRAMP focus.

This remote role demands clear technical documentation, effective communication with stakeholders, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive security assessments by analyzing cybersecurity documentation, performing evidence collection, and conducting interviews to evaluate compliance with FISMA, NIST RMF, and FedRAMP standards
• Guide cross-functional teams and lead compliance discussions, demonstrating expert understanding of security frameworks, architectures, and control requirements
• Author clear, accurate, and original assessment reports, attestations, and customer-facing compliance documentation
