Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead advanced security assessments for client information systems, guiding FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF compliance. You will mentor teams, support secure cloud architecture, and drive risk mitigation in a fast-paced remote environment.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, detailed reporting, and direct client engagement with a focus on FedRAMP.

Qualifications

• Security engineering knowledge to evaluate secure architecture design, system and network security, authentication protocols, applied cryptography, and application security
• Framework mastery demonstrating expert knowledge of Cloud Computing, FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST/DoD RMF, and NIST SP 800-series publications
• Tool proficiency using testing and assessment tools such as Nessus/ACAS, SCC, DISA STIGs/STIG Viewer, NMAP, and Acunetix
• Advanced industry certification required: CISSP or equivalent per A2LA R311
• English communication to effectively deliver technical guidance and articulate complex compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive security assessments, analyzing documentation and evidence for FISMA, NIST RMF, and FedRAMP compliance
• Guide cross-functional teams and lead compliance discussions with deep security framework expertise
• Author clear assessment reports, attestations, and customer-facing compliance documentation
• Perform vulnerability scanning and remediation planning across client environments
• Mentor team members and support secure cloud architecture design and risk mitigation
