Job summary

Maximus is seeking a strategic Subcontracts Manager to lead a team of subcontract specialists and oversee the full lifecycle of subcontract awards within the proposed portfolio. You will ensure FAR/DFARS compliance and align subcontracting activities with program objectives.

In a matrixed environment, you will advise project teams, negotiate terms, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement using iCertis, Coupa, CostPoint, and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Extensive knowledge of subcontract awards types (CR, FFDP, T&M) and administering award documents.
• Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS compliance and NDA/TA best practices.
• Experience in Defense, National Security, or Intelligence sectors preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (Coupa/CostPoint) and CLM systems; proficient MS Office usage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle subcontractor performance from solicitation to closeout.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and company policies; maintain accurate subcontract files.
• Lead negotiations focusing on terms, pricing, schedules and performance metrics.
• Provide business advisement to project teams on subcontract administration, processes, and federal engagements.
• Drive training and continuous improvement within the subcontracting team.
