Cloudera Government Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead the technical sales process for federal civilian agencies, especially the Department of Energy and National Labs.

You will design data-driven solutions, demonstrate Cloudera technologies, and collaborate with account teams to win technical approvals and drive ongoing customer success. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in technical pre-sales, deep data and cloud experience, and familiarity with federal regulations.

8+ years in a technical pre-sales, customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

Own the technical sales process from initial meetings to post-sales follow-up.
Discover new use cases and design solutions using Cloudera technologies.
Demonstrate products and articulate value to federal civilian agencies.
Partner with Account Managers to show ROI and drive renewals and upsells.
Engage with Product/Engineering to advocate for customer needs.
