Job summary

Cloudera Government Solutions, Inc. seeks a Federal Civilian Senior Solutions Engineer (IC5) to lead technical wins for federal agencies. You will craft designs using Cloudera data platforms, present complex demos, and guide customers through AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, and data governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Eight years+ in a customer-facing role, ideally pre-sales.
• Ability to create and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Experience with Big Data, Data Warehousing or Relational Databases.
• Experience with one or more cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sales process from introductory meetings through post-sales activities.
• Design solutions using Cloudera technologies based on reference architectures.
• Demonstrate Cloudera products to inspire customer adoption.
• Partner with Account Managers to show value and drive renewals.
• Present product roadmap and vision to customers.
• Coordinate with other Cloudera teams to present a unified voice.
• Advocate for customer needs to Product Management and Engineering.
• Engage in external outreach (conferences, meetups, blogs).
