Job summary

Cloudera Government Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead the technical sales cycle for federal civilian agencies. You will design data solutions, demonstrate products, and align with customers to secure wins.

The role requires deep technical knowledge in Big Data, data engineering, ML, and cloud platforms, plus the ability to present to large audiences and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Big Data, data warehousing or relational databases.
• Experience with data engineering, data science or ML.
• Understanding of federal civilian agencies and their data needs.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sales process from first meetings to post-sales.
• Support customers with technical needs and discover new use cases.
• Design solutions using Cloudera tech based on reference architectures.
• Demonstrate products to inspire customer success.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to show value and outcomes.
• Present roadmap and vision to drive larger opportunities.
