Job summary

AeroVironment, based in California, seeks a Senior Program Manager (level 3) to lead a major contract focused on building and maintaining custom applications for MPO. You will oversee finance, security, contracts, and technical delivery while liaising with CO/COR and government stakeholders.

The role requires extensive DoD program management experience and a TS clearance. Location is Annapolis Junction area with limited telework.

Qualifications

Active TS clearance with polygraph required.
15+ years managing programs and contracts of similar scope within the Federal Government.
At least 5 years in the Intelligence Community.
1 year of EVMS experience.
PMP certification.
Experience managing a PMO and cross-functional requirements.
Knowledge of FAR/DFAR and DoD 5000/ICD 801 policies.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of program management including finance, security, contracts, and technical delivery.
Coordinate with COR, CO, and customer stakeholders.
Allocate resources: staffing, facilities, and budgets.
Draft and coordinate contract transition plans.
Review Integrated Baseline and EV reports.
Manage risk and budgets across the contract.
Prepare program status reviews for government presentation.
Ensure timely recruitment and training of staff.
Coordinate deliverables, invoicing, and milestones.
Guide cross-discipline integration to meet government needs.
Communicate issues and solutions to the COR promptly.
