Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager in Herndon, VA to lead mission-critical federal contracts, manage budgets, and coordinate government interactions.

You will provide technical and administrative leadership, ensuring successful contract fulfillment and alignment with security requirements. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with poly, 10+ years in program management for federal programs, and strong cloud/software expertise including Azure, Elasticsearch, and data tooling.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a poly is required.
• 10+ years as a program or project manager in federal programs/contracts ($25M+).
• Experience in requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedules, and financial data monitoring/reporting.
• Strong Azure cloud experience; AWS and Databricks a plus.
• Mobile BYOD management in cloud computing environments.
• Zero-Trust architecture experience.
• TAK and integration tools in TAK environments.
• Strong software development experience.
• Deep data analysis skills and tools (Elasticsearch).
• Experience with Adtech data and Digital Force Protection.
• Curriculum development experience.
• Database management experience.
• Data and software tools: Kibana, Github, Python, Spark.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical, managerial, and administrative resources to fulfill contract requirements.
• Document and manage Government furnished equipment/property and CAP.
• Oversee contract budget measurement, resource management, cost monitoring, and compliance.
• Coordinate interactions between Contract Team and Government personnel to maintain schedules.
