Job summary

AV, a premier defense technology company, seeks a Sr. Pricing Analyst to lead cost and pricing strategies for federal proposals and contracts. You will prepare compliant, accurate pricing submissions in line with FAR/DFARS/CAS and advise cross-functional teams on pricing options.

You will develop pricing models, perform labor/material/ODC pricing, and build data-driven insights to support price-to-win analyses while mentoring junior analysts in estimating methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years pricing/estimating experience in federal contracting.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS/CAS and government proposal processes.
• Strong proficiency in Excel/Word; experience with ProPricer.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Pricing: Develop detailed pricing models for proposals, task orders, and contract modifications; review cost estimates with Estimating Lead; prepare compliant cost volumes.
• Compliance & Analysis: Ensure pricing submissions comply with FAR/DFARS, CAS, DCAA/DCMA; perform sensitivity analyses and risk assessments; maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Financial Modeling: Build cost models with direct labor, indirect rates, escalation, and subcontractor inputs; support price-to-win and provide data-driven insights.
• Collaboration: Work with capture, contracts, program management, and finance; prepare pricing packages and presentations; mentor junior pricing analysts.
