Job summary

AV in Huntsville is seeking a Sr. Pricing Analyst to lead cost and pricing strategies for federal proposals. You will build cost models, ensure FAR/DFARS compliance, and deliver data‑driven pricing analyses to support bid decisions.

The role requires collaboration with capture, contracts, and program teams, with a focus on accuracy, audit-ready documentation, and ethical pricing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of pricing/estimating experience in federal contracting.
• Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and government proposal processes.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with ProPricer.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed pricing models for proposals, task orders, and contract modifications.
• Prepare compliant cost volumes and support proposal documentation.
• Conduct labor rate, material, subcontractor, and ODC pricing.
• Ensure pricing submissions comply with FAR/DFARS, CAS, DCAA/DCMA guidelines.
• Perform sensitivity analyses, what-if scenarios, and risk assessments.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation to support reviews.
• Build and maintain cost models with direct labor, indirect rates, escalation, and subcontractor inputs.
• Support price-to-win analysis and competitive assessments with capture teams.
• Provide management with clear pricing recommendations and data-driven insights.
• Mentor junior pricing analysts and share best practices.
