Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Federal Project Manager to join the High-Performance Building Division's Operations team. This full-time role can be performed remotely or in a hybrid setting for candidates near an office, and involves leading and supporting business development, data analytics, and the management of multi-million-dollar DoD projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex projects as a project manager with DoD PM experience.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate and direct large projects and pursuits with complex features.
• Ability to motivate others and lead teams to implement plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in data analytics, including Power BI.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a portfolio of projects, managing profitability, quality, safety, client satisfaction, resources, scope, schedule, budget, and contract requirements.
• Attend, lead, and contribute to project meetings, capture minutes, and track actions.
• Ensure strong collaboration within a multi‑discipline environment among clients, employees, and leadership.
• Follow internal governance requirements.
• Prepare project tools: work breakdown structures, risk registers, RFIs, issues registers, and decision logs.
• Support the creation of governance documents: Project Execution Plans, QA Plans, Stakeholder Management Plans, and Risk Management Plans.
• Support project change control management.
