Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Federal Deputy Project Manager to lead business development, data analytics, and the management, design, development, and execution of large-scale military facility projects for Air Force, Army, and Navy installations. You will manage clients, budgets, and technical execution across multiple concurrent projects with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a DoD PM background, strong data analytics with Power BI skills, and the ability to obtain US government security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex projects as a project manager with experience as a DoD PM.
• Proven track record of delivering on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and direct the development of large projects and pursuits with complex features.
• Ability to motivate others and lead teams to implement plans for projects and client pursuits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in data analytics, including advanced use of Microsoft Power BI.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required for this position.
• Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
• Must be a U.S Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a portfolio of projects, including project profitability, quality, safety, client satisfaction, controlling resources, project scope, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.
• Attend project meetings with project teams, capturing minutes, and tracking actions.
• Ensure superior collaboration and communication within a multi‑discipline environment between clients, employees, and leadership.
• Follow internal governance requirements.
• Prepare project tools, including work breakdown structures, risk registers, requests for information, issues registers, and decision logs.
• Support the preparation of governance documents, including Project Execution Plans, Quality Assurance Plans, Stakeholder Management Plans, and Risk Management Plans.
• Support project change control management.
