Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks a Network Engineer IV for its Security and Electronic Systems team to design, implement, and operate secure network solutions for federal, local, and commercial clients, including the U.S.

Air Force Education and Training Center. You will lead network design efforts, perform site surveys, configure equipment, analyze performance, and support a 24/7 on-call schedule while maintaining compliance and ITIL practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or a related discipline and 7+ years of progressive experience.
• Understanding of ITIL concepts and security implications for network solutions.
• Knowledge of network concepts, technologies, tools, and the ability to design an organization’s network infrastructure and services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports and measurements to senior personnel in actionable form.
• Design, install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.
• Develop network designs for each SLA classification and produce design documents.
• Prepare specifications, perform QA/QC, and conduct design reviews.
• Author test plans, supervise testing activities, and prepare commissioning procedures and reports.
• Support a 24/7 on‑call schedule.
