Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Healthcare Solutions Architect to support Federal Health opportunities, focusing on health IT modernization, data platforms, and interoperability. The role leads solution development, pricing inputs, and governance discussions with senior leaders.

Based onsite in Reston, VA, you will build partnerships with health agencies and industry providers, shape architectures, and translate emerging technologies into mission-focused proposals.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience developing successful technical solutions for large, complex opportunities and proposal submissions for US Federal and/or State/Local Government customers, ideally within health IT.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with SMEs, program managers, proposal teams, and business development in complex and often ambiguous environments.
• Strong communication skills, able to communicate across a wide range of formats and with various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted customer and partner relationships and communicate effectively with senior and executive-level leaders.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge across mission-focused technology services and solutions, with strong customer focus; experience in health IT, data platforms, cloud modernization, or health analytics is highly valuable.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Shape solution strategy with Business Development, delivery teams, and Corporate Offerings to align to Federal Health objectives.
• Lead technical solution development, pricing inputs, and business case alignment for proposals.
• Define solution architecture, mission value, and performance objectives prior to costing activities.
• Articulate all aspects of the solution during governance reviews with senior leadership.
• Maintain relationships with Health IT partners and teaming organizations to deliver integrated solutions.
• Understand Federal Health environments (CMS, NIH, FDA, CDC, VA, HRSA) and position for end-to-end value.
• Engage with customers to understand mission priorities and emerging needs.
• Translate innovation and emerging tech (AI/ML, data platforms, interoperability) into differentiated solutions.
• Maintain a network of contacts within the Federal Health community.
