Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is looking for a Senior Project Development Engineer in the federal market to help in our Energy Solutions offices. The Energy Solutions division is the fastest growing part of our company, and the right candidate thrives on helping clients with a strong technical background across performance contracting and energy engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with an Energy Services company or a consulting engineering/commissioning firm in the federal market.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Explain and introduce performance contracting to potential clients.
• Lead development phase including site visits, audits, energy calculations, and analyses.
• Direct the engineering design team producing drawings and specifications.
• Direct the bidding process and develop the final contract with the client.
• Coordinate with construction manager to ensure a smooth construction period.
• Direct the commissioning process and be involved during warranty phase.
• Collaborate with M&V professionals to develop the first year M&V report.
