CMTA, a Legence company, seeks a Senior Project Development Engineer for the federal market to drive energy solutions projects from auditing and energy calculations through design, bidding, contracting, construction, commissioning, and M&V. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in energy services or federal consulting, with a mechanical engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with an Energy Services company or a consulting engineering/commissioning firm in the federal market.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development phase including site visits, audits, energy calculations, etc.
• Direct the engineering design team producing drawings and specifications.
• Direct the bidding process and develop the final contract with the client.
• Coordinate with the construction manager to ensure a smooth construction period.
• Oversee the commissioning process.
• Collaborate with M&V professionals to develop the first-year M&V report.
