Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Senior Project Development Engineer for our Energy Solutions division in the federal market. The role focuses on leading performance contracting initiatives, overseeing site visits, energy calculations, and the development of contract documents for high‑level clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in HVAC design and commissioning, with at least five years in energy services or federal consulting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with an Energy Services company or federal market consulting/commissioning firms.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development phase including site visits, audits, and energy calculations.
• Direct the engineering design team producing drawings and specifications.
• Direct the bidding process and develop the final contract with the client.
• Coordinate with construction management for a smooth project period.
• Oversee commissioning and involvement during warranty phases.
• Collaborate with M&V professionals to develop the first-year M&V report.
