Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Senior Field Marketing Manager - Public Sector to own the marketing strategy and execution for U.S. Federal and Defense.

You will run an integrated, multi-channel program across Federal Civilian agencies, Federal Systems Integrators, DoW/DoD, and the Defense Industrial Base, in close partnership with Public Sector sales leadership. The role covers events, executive briefings, and digital campaigns, with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of field marketing experience in B2B SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy for integrated Federal and Defense field marketing plan aligned to sales and pipeline goals.
• Build segment-specific program tracks for Federal Civilian, Federal Systems Integrator, DoW/DoD, and Defense Industrial Base audiences.
• Own Datadog’s presence across the federal event calendar including conferences and executive gatherings.
• Create programs to move federal buyers through the funnel: briefings, workshops, roundtables, webinars.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing on FedRAMP High, IL5, data residency, and compliance messaging.
• Partner with Demand Generation on campaign strategy, nurture tracks, SLA-driven lead flow.
