Job summary

BD is seeking a Contract Consultant, Government, to serve as a senior federal contracting expert supporting the lifecycle from opportunity assessment to closeout. The role collaborates with internal partners and Federal customers to ensure compliant growth and successful contract execution.

The position requires strong problem-solving, business judgment, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks while leveraging automation and AI tools to enhance efficiency across the federal contracting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with Government contracting experience.
• Strong understanding of federal contracting principles and lifecycle.
• Ability to assess requirements, identify risks, and propose solutions.
• Experience with contract management systems and related apps.

Responsibilities

• Support federal government contracting activities across the lifecycle.
• Review solicitation and contract requirements and advise stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Sales, Legal, Pricing for compliant execution.
• Identify and resolve contractual, operational, and compliance risks.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and records.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and customer inquiries.
• Analyze contract data to support decision-making and improvements.
• Promote automation and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement across the contracting organization.
