Job summary

Peraton seeks a Contracts Administration Senior Advisor to join our Defense Sector contracts team. You will manage a diverse portfolio of government contracts from award through closeout, advise program teams on contractual rights and obligations, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 10+ years, or 16+ years in lieu of degree.
• Willingness to periodic travel to Peraton facilities and/or customer sites.
• Strong organizational skills, able to work independently and in teams; excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of government contracts across various types, complexities, and sizes.
• Advise program teams on contract cost and performance risk.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships internally and externally.
• Serve as the go-to contractual expert for Project Managers, providing guidance on requirements and changes.
• Partner with internal teams and customers to tackle complex challenges and deliver effective solutions.
• Monitor program performance for conformance to proposals and legal requirements.
• Draft and revise contract letters, change orders, and performance responses.
• Lead start-up and closeout processes to ensure smooth transitions.
• Assist with price/cost proposals and narratives for bids.
• Analyze, draft, and negotiate Teaming Agreements, NDAs, MOUs, MOAs, and other instruments.
• Disseminate contract status and compliance information across the organization.
