Job summary

GHD is seeking a Federal Contracting Compliance Advisor in Phoenix, AZ to join the Americas Legal, Risk & Compliance Team. You will review project solicitations and contract documents for FAR/DFAR, GSAR, and CAS compliance, partnering with multiple departments.

You will support government contracting audits, advise the US business on regulatory matters, monitor evolving requirements, and help update compliance policies.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience in Federal contracting or procurement.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFAR and other Federal regulations.
• Ability to learn and apply GHD policies and procedures quickly.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Excellent communication with cross-team interaction.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, drafting, and conflict resolution skills.
• Self-starter, creative, a team player with good judgment and initiative.
• Highly responsive and service-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform reviews of project pursuit solicitations and contract documents for FAR/DFAR, GSAR and CAS compliance.
• Partner with multiple departments to ensure project pricing, procurement, cyber security and legal risk compliance.
• Support audits and inquiries related to disclosure statements, incurred cost proposals, timekeeping, and indirect rates.
• Advise US business on compliance matters associated with government contracting regulations (privacy, data security, data management, data sovereignty, and cybersecurity).
• Monitor evolving Federal procurement requirements and recommend updates to policies and procedures.
• Update and maintain compliance policy and procedure documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
