Job summary

Highspring is seeking an experienced advisor for Government Contracting Advisory Services to support clients in navigating FAR/DFARS/CAS, develop compliant systems, and assist with cost and budget analyses.

The role requires 8+ years in government contracting, US citizenship, and ability to travel up to 25%. You will interact with client leadership and Federal auditors to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 8+ years of government contracting experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and CAS regulations.
• Experience designing and implementing government contracting compliance programs.
• Experience performing risk assessments and compliance reviews.
• Experience developing indirect rates and cost estimates.
• Experience in DFARS business systems controls testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory support on FAR/DFARS/CAS compliance for government contractors.
• Develop and maintain compliant business systems and processes.
• Assist with budget, cost, and schedule analyses and EAC reviews.
• Prepare and respond to audit findings and cost data analyses.
• Develop indirect rate models and review incurred cost submissions.
• Review and establish contract/project setup and closeout procedures.
