Job summary

Horizon3 seeks a Mid–Senior Enterprise Technical Support Engineer to diagnose and resolve complex cloud, networking, and security issues for enterprise customers. You will work with Linux, Docker, and cloud platforms, supporting FedRAMP/DoD environments and contributing to continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor teammates, and help optimize customer environments with IaC and best practices, while maintaining SLAs in a fast-paced, remote role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in technical support, systems administration, or cloud operations in enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in Linux administration and production troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Cloud platforms and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Networking fundamentals, security, and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
• Scripting with Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation.
• Clearance readiness and DoD/FedRAMP experience a plus.
• Experience managing multi-tenant environments and RBAC/SSO concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support to enterprise customers via phone, email, chat, and remote sessions across cloud, networking, and infrastructure domains.
• Diagnose and resolve customer-reported problems, perform root cause analysis, and maintain high service availability.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and sales to resolve complex issues and document solutions for knowledge sharing.
• Assist in deployment and optimization of customer environments using IaC and containerized apps.
• Monitor tickets to meet SLAs and contribute to support process improvements.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal training resources and knowledge transfer.
• Stay current with technologies to enhance support capabilities and customer satisfaction.
