Job summary

Horizon3 is seeking a Staff-Level Enterprise Technical Support Engineer to act as a senior technical authority for enterprise customers. You will diagnose and resolve complex issues in cloud infrastructure, networking, and security, driving collaboration across teams and owning critical escalations.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in tech support or cloud operations, deep Linux and container knowledge, and hands-on scripting with Bash & Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of technical support, systems administration, or cloud operations in enterprise environments.
• Experience leading high-availability incident responses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for enterprise customers, handling critical issues across cloud, networking, and infrastructure.
• Drive root-cause analysis and partner with engineering to improve reliability.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with engineering, product, and sales to resolve complex challenges.
• Design and review customer environments, advising on IaC, containers, and cloud-native patterns.
• Define and refine support processes, SLAs, and escalation paths.
