Job summary

Horizon3 is seeking a Federal Platform Engineer to deploy and operate production-grade infrastructure for AWS-fed environments, including FedRAMP and Classified workloads. You will design scalable, secure cloud-native platforms, create Terraform modules, and advance CI/CD practices to empower engineers and developers.

The role emphasizes automation, documentation, and collaboration across teams, with a focus on secure, compliant cloud operations and proactive platform evolution.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform engineering, or related roles.
Experience designing scalable cloud-native platforms in AWS.
Experience with Terraform and Crossplane for IaC.

Responsibilities

Implement scalable, secure cloud-native platforms across AWS regions.
Enhance development/deployment processes for confidence and speed.
Develop tooling to collect telemetry for platform effectiveness.
