Job summary

Emerging Tech seeks a Capture Solutions Director to own the capture process, translate complex government requirements into winning technical solutions, and drive multiple opportunities from identification to proposal submission.

You will lead technical solutioning for RFPs and Sources Sought notices, collaborate with BD and SMEs, and influence pre-RFP shaping, with a focus on VA and DoD/DoW programs in a fast-growing team.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8–10+ years in systems engineering, solutions architecture, or related technical discipline.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government customers, specifically Air Force.
• Familiarity with VA and/or DoW systems and mission sets.
• Proven track record on technical proposals for government RFPs.
• Experience in capture and business development.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute win strategies with BD and SMEs.
• Engage government customers during pre-RFP shaping to influence requirements.
• Maintain awareness of VA/DoD priorities and competitive landscape.
• Lead technical solution development for federal, state, and local programs.
• Develop system designs, technical approaches, and implementation roadmaps.
• Create capability prototypes and architect solutions.
• Author technical volumes, white papers, and narratives.
• Support cost and pricing teams with technical bases of estimates.
