C3 AI is seeking a Federal Solution Leader to drive mission‑focused AI deployments in government environments. You will shape data architectures, prototype solutions, and lead cross‑functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product experts to deliver measurable mission impact.

The role requires security clearances, deep federal domain knowledge, and a track record of delivering production systems.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI clearance required; CI or Full‑Scope Polygraph preferred.
• Technical credibility to architect enterprise AI and data solutions; hands‑on prototyping.
• Depth from one of two directions: strong software/data engineering or deep federal mission expertise with technical fluency.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical/quantitative discipline; advanced degree a plus.
• Track record delivering solutions from concept to production; strong problem-solving.
• Deep federal domain expertise in at least one mission area to engage government stakeholders.
• Experience working with senior technical and executive stakeholders; both mission and technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Shape data flow, integration topology, identity model, and deployment architecture across environments (on‑premises, air‑gapped, government cloud).
• Prototype, build, and debug with the team; set technical direction across implementation details.
• Quantify high‑value AI/ML opportunities by translating mission challenges into solvable technical problems.
• Define the solution's technical roadmap; determine what’s in scope vs. one‑offs or productized.
• Provide cross‑functional technical leadership within a Forward Deployed team and guide priorities.
• Identify and manage technical risks and dependencies; escalate issues early.
• Lead stakeholder sessions and brief executive sponsors; produce clear status updates.
• Deploy from development to production, including data stores, mission systems, and cloud integrations.
• Ensure federal readiness: security, compliance, FedRAMP, DoD IL, NIST standards, ATO processes.
• Bridge field learnings back to product; drive repeatable deployments.
• Support account growth by surfacing expansion opportunities with Sales.
