Job summary

C3 AI inTysons, VA seeks a Director of Federal Solutions to lead a team of Federal Solution Leaders delivering C3 AI’s enterprise AI solutions to government customers. You will hire, coach, and guide a high-caliber technical team while guiding architecture reviews and reusable solution patterns.

This hands-on delivery-leadership role blends engineering rigor with executive communication, ensuring secure, compliant, production‑ready deployments across DoD, intelligence, and civilian programs.

Qualifications

Active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI clearance required; polygraph preferred.
10+ years in technical delivery with 4+ years leading technical teams.
Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering; advanced degree a plus.
Proven delivery of complex enterprise software, AI/ML in Federal/IC.
Deep domain expertise in one or more federal mission areas.
Ability to hire, coach, and retain engineers and delivery leads.
Experience with government executives and deep technical reviews.
Experience with cloud data warehouses, APIs, CI/CD, IaC.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Federal Solution Leaders team; set standards.
Own delivery quality across federal engagements; ensure secure production.
Staff missions; manage utilization and staffing across projects.
Engage government executives; represent team at the executive level.
Ensure federal readiness with FedRAMP, DoD IL, NIST standards (800-53/800-171, ATO).
Bridge field learnings to product and engineering; improve patterns.
Support growth with Sales; provide technical estimates and demos.
Build scalable, repeatable delivery playbooks for the practice.
