Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Sr. Federal Account Manager to drive AI and critical infrastructure sales for Federal, SLED, and commercial customers across Hawaii, INDOPACOM, and partners.

You will design, position, and optimize AI-ready data center environments, collaborating with engineers and channel partners to deliver high-density thermal and power solutions. The role involves leading customer engagements, tailoring infrastructure to mission needs, and guiding select OEMs and integrators in adopting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or technical field.
• 10+ years in sales, account management, or business development.
• Experience supporting U.S. Federal customers in INDOPACOM, Hawaii, and Guam.
• Strong sales acumen and ability to build customer relationships.
• Experience with channel partners, resellers, or system integrators.
• Ability to engage IT, facilities, engineering and executive stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Knowledge of Federal procurement environments and government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted resource for Federal, SLED, commercial, and partner customers evaluating data center infrastructure for AI workloads.
• Engage IT and facilities leaders to align AI infrastructure with business objectives.
• Translate customer pain points into tailored thermal, power, and infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain engagement with internal engineers, sales leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Lead on-site and virtual engagements, planning sessions, and solution reviews.
