Job summary

Henderson Scott is seeking an Account Executive to drive growth within U.S. Federal Civilian, DoD and Intelligence community accounts from Arlington, VA.

The role focuses on owning the full sales cycle, building strategic relationships, and selling advanced AI and data technology into mission-critical government environments. The successful candidate will work with senior stakeholders across Federal, Defence and Intelligence agencies, develop account plans, and close high-value enterprise deals

Qualifications

• Proven Federal sales experience within software, AI, cyber, data, intelligence or defence technology.
• Strong existing relationships within relevant U.S. Government agencies.
• Track record of owning and growing strategic Federal accounts.
• Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
• Experience managing complex procurement cycles and large opportunities.
• Comfortable selling to senior Government, military and intelligence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the full Federal sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
• Build and expand relationships across key U.S. Government agencies.
• Sell cutting-edge AI and data technology into complex, mission-critical environments.
• Engage senior stakeholders across Federal, Defence and Intelligence customers.
• Build pipeline, develop strategic account plans and manage long-term opportunities.
• Close complex, high-value enterprise and government deals.
• Work closely with leadership, product and customer teams to support major Federal growth initiatives.
