Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Sr. National Account Manager for Federal Markets in the United States. The role focuses on developing strategic plans and securing profitable access for Biogen products across federal accounts, acting as the single face of Biogen to the account and directing large internal teams to optimize revenue.

The candidate will manage relationships with VA, DoD, TRICARE, PHS and IHS, with 30% travel, leveraging policy knowledge to influence outcomes and drive long-term strategies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
• 4+ years in Federal Accounts with veteran candidate preferred.
• Strong presentation skills for internal partners.
• Ability to build senior-level relationships within government sector.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all business with Department of Veterans Affairs, DoD, TRICARE, Public Health Services, and Indian Health clinical pathways.
• Ensure profitable access and monitor product profitability across units.
• Develop and oversee internal pull-through initiatives.
• Coordinate with Biogen colleagues to support access and client relationships.
• Educate and align internal teams as a single point of contact.
