TRUMPF North America is seeking a (Senior) Consultant Factory Planning to help sheet metal companies across North America improve manufacturing efficiency, layouts, material flow and shop floor management.

You will analyze processes, develop practical solutions, and work with TRUMPF experts to deliver measurable improvements. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and up to 60% travel.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of customer-facing experience in factory planning or manufacturing consulting.
• Experience with Industry 4.0, Lean, Continuous Improvement is desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for executives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor across North America from analysis to implementation.
• Design and optimize factory layouts, material flow, and storage systems.
• Model processes and identify opportunities; deliver practical solutions.
• Collaborate with TRUMPF experts on interdisciplinary projects.
• Lead workshops and guide customers through change management.
• Contribute to development of TRUMPF’s consulting services in the US.
• Travel up to 60%.
