Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. seeks a Senior Consultant Smart Factory Software / MES to analyze and optimize customer requirements across North America. You will translate production and digitalization needs into practical MES concepts and oversee implementations.

Key responsibilities include modelling processes, delivering user trainings, and advising on software solutions. Expect extensive travel (up to 70%) and collaboration with the development team on customizations.

Qualifications

3–5 years in customer-facing roles in MES, ERP, CAQ, BDE, PLM or related fields.
Consulting experience is an asset.
Knowledge of sheet metal processing is a plus.
Strong IT knowledge in manufacturing, quality management or Industry 4.0.
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills for meetings and workshops.
Fluent in English; additional languages welcome.

Responsibilities

Analyze and model customer requirements and business processes across North America.
Advise on TRUMPF software products and develop concepts for optimal use.
Map the modular structure of our software solutions and evaluate production data flows.
Create requirement and functional specs and high-level and detailed concepts.
Develop creative solutions and coordinate customizations with the dev team.
Plan and support MES rollouts for US customers and deliver trainings.
Travel up to 70% to meet customers and run workshops.
